I spoke with Lamont Rogers following his trip to the Cotton Bowl on Saturday, and it's safe to say he enjoyed the atmosphere and efforts from both teams.
Bill Bedenbaugh has built a strong relationship with Rogers, and after Rogers' latest visit to Norman the Sooners have been in a very good position.
Rogers has emphasized that going somewhere with a reputation and track record of developing linemen for the NFL is one of the most important factors in his decision, and that was a point he reiterated after OU's win against Texas.
Sources indicate the Sooners still hold a strong lead for Rogers' services currently. That said, the NIL picture hasn't even begun to materialize and there's a long way to go before a final decision is made.
