Team Note and Follow Up on Staff Rumor

Don't expect a sudden change at QB after the Bedlam loss. There's a lot of clamoring for Jackson Arnold to start and that will no doubt get louder, but in talking with a couple of people today that seems unlikely. The most that might happen is you see Arnold get some playing time in spots.

In a follow up to last week's note about Jeff Lebby, the people I've spoken with about this made it clear that the on-field issues are essentially the proverbial straw that is breaking the camel's back. Lebby and his wife's stubbornness about Art Briles' presence around the program has made a lot of people who originally weren't happy with the hire determined to effect a change this off-season, and with Lebby seemingly learning on the job as OC that's just pouring gasoline on that fire.

Can’t tell you how much as a subscriber I love the push to email articles and the fact that the boars isn’t a bunch of OU fans bashing other fellow posters for their opinion. That’s the reason i left 247.

I left as well. They didn't have the facts and relied more on hope and "I've been told" retreads.

What do your sources say about the concern of Jackson Arnold leaving if Leb leaves? Also, is Briles hanging around the program a lot?
