Some notes we've gathered from a few sources about workouts and current standouts:
Jacob Sexton is emerging as a leader among the offensive line group. According to a source he has had a great start to winter workouts and he's become a vocal presence pushing his peers and bringing them together.
Zach Alley got his first opportunity today to put the linebackers through drills. A source brought up Kobie McKinzie as someone the coaches are pushing very hard and the word is Kobie has risen to the challenge and become yet another leader in that linebacker room.
I'm told the wide receivers as a group have had a good start to workouts and had a good session today in the junior day practice event. A surprise name that was mentioned as a standout is former Southlake Carroll WR Jacob Jordan. Jordan was a huge get for OU as a PWO and from talking to sources he is impressing early.
